Our upstairs art gallery is flooded with natural light overlooking a hidden garden and is a beautiful space,

perfect to display art.

We are currently showing works by prominent  Margaret River artists

Fi Wilkie and Chris Spiker.
Fi and Chris have similar subject matter but quite different styles.

​

Fi  is an intuitive painter. Her

process typically starts with a random mess of colour and mark making and then she selects and activates certain areas to develop her composition. Her latest works were inspired by another Australian artist, Margaret Preston which have proved immensely popular.

​

Chris chooses watercolour to paint  Australian native birds, rural landscapes and bush tracks. He sees things simply wants to create a picture of what he sees. He paints birds because he loves them for their habitual diversity and beauty and with the hope that he might encourage other people to appreciate the need to ensure the permanent preservation of birds, in particular our Australian Black Cockatoos, smaller parrots and bush birds that are increasingly vulnerable for many reasons.

We stock a range of prints and limited edition prints in varying sizes along with cushions, coasters, scarves and greeting cards of the artists' work which are perfect for gifting.
